THE AIR FORCE 1 WORLD TOUR CHANGES COLOR.
NIGO’s first World Tour chapter arrived in blue. The next one lands in Burnt Sunrise and Metallic Gold with j-hope bringing a completely different energy to the same icon.

Some Air Force 1 stories are about a colorway. This one is about a line being drawn through time.
NIGO is using the Air Force 1 as a passport: a familiar silhouette carrying pieces of Japanese street culture, old magazine design, Human Made, and a new collaborator with his own world around him. The point is not to make the shoe unrecognizable. The point is to make you look at it differently.
For IKNO, that matters. We are not here to pretend every release is equally important. This is a release worth watching because it gives the Force a real narrative—not just another color placement.

Before gold, there was LO2 blue.
The blue images are not a wrong download. They belong to the opening leg of NIGO’s Air Force 1 World Tour: the LO2 Air Force 1 in Sail and Loyal Blue.
Nike connects that pair to the 1990s Japanese publication LO2, NIGO’s early relationship with Jun Takahashi, and the blue-and-yellow world of NOWHERE. Its lower 2001-inspired shape and glossy details deliberately look backward while staying usable now.
That is the foundation for the entire World Tour idea: one Air Force 1 silhouette, different cultural stops, and enough history behind each stop to give the colors weight.
A new voice, not a different shoe.
The Nike x NIGO x j-hope Air Force 1 keeps the World Tour moving with Burnt Sunrise, Metallic Gold, a Chlorine Blue accent and squirrel graphics. Nike describes the pair as a reimagining of the 2001 Air Force 1—and that detail is important. NIGO is not rebuilding the Force from scratch; he is working from the era where the shoe became a permanent part of street style.
j-hope gives this stop its own temperature. Where LO2 blue is graphic and archival, the gold pair feels warmer and more animated: a sunrise palette, an expressive graphic, and a much louder visual signal.
The details do the talking.
The Air Force 1 has always made room for personality without needing to abandon its shape. That is why a World Tour makes sense here. It can move from a blue Japanese-publication reference to a j-hope collaboration and still be recognizably Force from across the room.
It is the same reason we keep an archive of pairs that carry a bigger idea—whether that means the Supreme Air Force 1 line, Virgil’s re-reading of the shoe, or the pairs collected in IKNO Finds.
According to Nike, the j-hope pair released first through HUMAN MADE on October 17, 2026, with a global SNKRS and select-retailer release scheduled for October 22, 2026.
Release availability can vary by market.
